Get a load of this BP...

The oil spill -  Day Forever..

I need to inform everyone about our beaches here in Sarasota..  They are breath taking.. No oil here and reports from marine biologists from Mote Marine and others that if the oil gets into the loop current, our area will be protected, but watch out Key West, Palm Beach, Georgia to North Carolina.

This is the #1 question I have been receiving from potential real estate buyers over the past 3 weeks or so.  The longer it takes to stop the leak, the more negative impact it will have on our real estate & economy.  Please don't dismiss it just b/c it has not hit our beaches..  I will be doing an article on our area by week's end, so be sure to check back.

Can you Believe that if Leglislation doesn't change, Oil Spill victims receiving money from BP will be considered Taxable Income... You got to be kidding me... Read the attached link.

The Big Event this week will be the Tax Credit Expiration and the potential fall out.  I will be right on top of the pending leglislation surrounding a bill that would extend the expiration from June 30th to September 30th for those home buyers who went under contract by April 30th.  So far, the bill has failed to gain momentum due to other items in the bill which includes Flood Insurance reform.

I would love to hear feedbacks & commentary....
